Moyo, Uganda July 1999

Finally back to Moyo. A place we had not seen as a team since 1994. We had to fly from Entebbe to Moyo this time because the roads were not secure enough to drive. We had a great time seeing new and old friends.

We took Dr. Walid Azzo who did incredible orthopedic surgery, especially because there was not any working x-ray equipment at the time. Dr Kathy Banks , an oral surgeon, also did a great number of hare lips cases as well as other oral surgical cases. On our return to Adjumani in July of 2001, we hope to follow up many of our patients seen in Moyo.
